It's been 5 months without snow.
And it hurts. It hurts all over... uhh!!! I just want to go riding to bad. I finished out last season riding a brand new 2010 Burton Hero. It BEGS to go outside. Seriously. Everyday, it looks at me with this sad face and asks if we can drive somewhere cold and be together forever. And everyday, I have to break her little heart.
Soon enough, (hopefully mid-October) Tyrol Basin will open up for hiking and and put together a little park. Then we can shred like there is no tomorrow :D

Ok, taking a break from the color business. I loveee the themes, and I will continue with it later, there are just a few things I'm anxious to do now, rather than later.
Originally, today was going to be 'white' in my nice white dress, with other white stuff, but as I was attempting to set up, I saw my brand-spankin new board, freshly stickered, just sitting in the corner. Screw white, I want to jib! Now, it would have been much better if I had done this during the day when no one was home, because doing it at 11:30 at night, when everyone was sleeping was not such a great idea. I got about 7 or 8 shots like this in, before I crashed into the wall/window/blinds. It's loud. VERY loud.

I haven't gotten that far yet. Everything is still siting out, waiting to be put back in it's proper place. Anddd Im kinda, sorta, really angry because I discovered an extremely large tear in these tights before I put them on. Oh well, perhaps I'm due to go shopping for tights tomorrow!

4 months later...
This is one of two photos from my 365 project I had left to edit and upload. I was just putting this one off because it was 6 separate photos, and at the time I was taking them, the batteries in my flash were on the fritz and wouldn't keep a consistent output. Every photo from that shoot had different lighting, and because of that the motivation wasn't there, but now, I'm craving it! More and more I want to use my camera again, but I just had to do this first, and let me tell you, putting this up makes me feel like I've accomplished quite a bit!
This was back in October when I was feeling super anxious to get snowboarding, hence the pants. Yes, I have quite a few... and only one pair here doesn't actually belong to me, and are actually my boyfriends... *cough*pinkones*cough*.. haha ohhhh I'm so happy to be back on the snow, and back on Flickr too.

This would have been more effective if I had taken everything off of the counter. But the lazy Zebra didn't have that much motivation. Today was possibly the last day of snowboarding for this season. It's a rather depressing thought. Maybe tomorrow?

Because of this shot, I'm sore today. My butt hurts, my back hurts, and my legs hurt too. I jumped, landed, and ran right back up the stairs 40 times for this. Oyee. I'm just really excited over my new snowboarding base layers. Obviously. And trust me, they are very warm and toasty. This is a little 'eh' for me, but it was fun anyway. It's super late and I've got to get to bed. Big day tomorrow!
